Food and Cooking

During the summer and on request my Mother, Donatella will be happy to have you in her kitchen and let you learn first hand how to kook the traditional Tuscan food.
Cooking class can be done on request in the morning starting at 10.30 or in the afternoon starting at 6 pm

Fontelunga's guests have a reserved day of the week to participate, normally on Tuesday. Other day's possible on request.

Classe up to 10 people will be made in the kitchen, larger groups (up to 40) will use another area were we set up a demonstration table with chairs to observe the preparation.

The informal cooking classes are made to experience together the simplicity of the real Tuscan food and learn the reason way is the main inspiration for the so called "Mediterranean diet".
Every Thursday we all get together and if you like you can participate at the making of a traditional big dinner following the instructions of Mamma Donatella , then have dinner together with the other Fontelunga's guests and friends.
On request is possible to make a complete course were you will learn the basis of Italian cousin, how to cook Tuscan specialty, some traditional Italian dish.
