For your holidays in Tuscany, "Villa Il Giuggiolo" is a beautiful property set in the Valdichiana countryside.
Villa il Giuggiolo is an old farmhouse in a corner of the Val di Chiana. Completely independent, with its own outdoor spaces and a private pool. It is located on the edge of a small, quiet country village.
Just a few minutes from Cortona, the holiday home enjoys the tranquillity of the countryside and, while being in an extremely peaceful spot, it is also well connected and easy to reach both from Cortona’s town centre and the main roads. Supermarkets, shops, banks, train station, and restaurants can be reached within a few minutes by car. It’s a fantastic base for your daily trips to the most famous destinations in Tuscany and Umbria.
The total outdoor space is approximately 4,000 sqm, divided into 2 independent gardens surrounded by natural hedges and shaded by several large trees. The pool area is fully fenced. In the parking area there is an electric vehicle charging station. You’ll find outdoor tables and chairs, sunbeds, deckchairs, and a charcoal barbecue.
You can enter with your car through two different gates, both of which have shaded parking under a pergola.
The fenced, private-use swimming pool is just outside the house’s garden.
Villa il Giuggiolo is divided into two apartments of equal size with no internal connection, for a total of six double or twin bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two separate living areas with well-equipped, functional kitchens, dining tables, and antique fireplaces. You’ll also have two smart satellite TVs with national and international channels.
The upper apartment is accessed directly from the external stairs and private garden, with a charming pergola above the loggia, shaded by jasmine. The large antique fireplace is freely available for use.
The lower apartment is entirely on the ground floor and accessible directly from the garden, with no architectural barriers for disabled access. A fireplace is also available in this area.
Furnishings and interiors are all antique and renovated in keeping with the original style.
